About this site & our rules

About this site

Nankabenri is an unofficial fan site about Chiikawa, run by a fan in Japan. We are not affiliated with the creator, the publishers, or any official Chiikawa business.

The English version helps fans outside Japan find official information: where to watch and read, what the characters are called in each language, official shops in Japan and abroad, and the movie's release dates. The Japanese version also has a daily calendar of lotteries, pre-orders and new releases in Japan.

Our rules

1. No official images. We never post manga panels, official illustrations, logos or product photos. Characters are shown with their names and colors only.
2. Every fact has a source. We check official websites, official social media accounts, company announcements and reliable news, and we show the source and the date we checked.
3. No resale. We never post resale prices. We only point you to official shops.
4. No retelling of the story. We don't summarize the manga. We help you find where to read it officially.
5. No fan theories presented as facts.
6. We fix mistakes quickly. If you spot one, please tell us.

Ads and affiliate links

This site shows ads (Google AdSense) and uses affiliate links to cover its costs. Affiliate links are labeled "PR". We keep ads out of the way of the content.
